Plan: Each week I plan to tabulate sales between the time and date of posting this, and simply multiply the number of books sold times $2.00 (two dollars), then have my company, G2G Fit, LLC donate the requisite amount to Philippines relief efforts. Organizations providing or facilitating food, water purification, medical supplies, medical care, and delivery of same will be the recipients. My goal is to select those organizations with 3-4 stars at Charity Navigator. A list of those I favor:

Food Relief:

Feed My Starving Children:

If you have information about better charities that may be more effective in the Philippines, do comment. I’ll respond.

    • LOL. Naw. It’s Midnight Thanksgiving Day…that’s a week or so off.

I’d be happy if everyone bypassed the book and invested in the relief efforts, but some people may need relief from packaged fitness life too, and for those folks, they can also know they’re buying a meal for someone in the islands.

I almost feel this is a pathetic offer. Such a drop in the bucket given the sheer needs in the Philippines right now.

    • Thanks Master Whitson: if I were a more famous voice, it might be a bigger deal, but then, one drop plus a few concentric circles…who knows? With 80% of the structures hit by that storm flattened, it seems like we’re living on a different planet lately. Lord have mercy on those who do not have much wealth or insurance to rebuild with.
