Train Your Children Well…

More than ever, children need daily exercise, a sense of purpose, and adults to lead by example in getting, and staying fit, functional, and capable of taking on new endeavors. In a word, adaptive parental leaders.

  1. Yes! I was raised in a way that exercise was always fun and wasn’t ever really called “exercise” or we didn’t exercise for anything other than it is good for you. I have/am raising my children in the same manner and I can’t help but notice they both have a positive approach to “exercise”.

  2. I love that you posted this. I’ve always felt that one of the best things a parent can do is to lead by example. Fitness and nutrition are often left out of the equation. It’s our responsibility to put it back in.

  3. Well said, my friend! My son tells me to turn on my “my tracks” app when we go out somewhere, so we can see our mileage. Fun for family walks, hikes, and biking adventures. 🙂
